One of the biggest crises in the city is the alarming growth of the youth drug scene.
Why Plant a Church?
The Opportunity IS GREAT
- New churches attract non-churched people on average of about 3-6 times more than older churches. Only one in 10 new members of churches over 15 years old are people who were not Christians or not churched previously, while in new churches it is one in 3 or even 2 out of 3.
- New churches are the best way to renew the older, existing churches. New churches attract and produce more converts, leaders, and givers, many of which find their ways into the other churches of the city.

James and Alanna have a passion to see people far from God find life in Christ. They believe that a genuine encounter with God can change everything.
In 2023, God placed a call on James and Alanna’s heart to plant a church that would reach those that do not yet have a life-giving church in the city of Swift Current, Saskatchewan. The desire of their hearts is that people would know God, find freedom, discover their purpose and make a difference.
James has been involved in church worship and pastoral ministry for over 15 years. Together they have served in worship, next-generation ministries, and local missions. They are passionate about equipping and empowering the next generation and seeing them step into the fullness of life God has planned for them.
James and Alanna were married in 2009 and have an incredible daughter, Isabella.
